Google's my best friend now. I'm definitely not that first to say this, but search engines are just freaking cool. Recently, my profs are asking us to answer really hard questions like, 'what are the main accounting problems found in the Satyam scandal?' Who knows??? But hey, a quick search gives you links and more links! I watched a cool video too. (I also found out that American media is so much cooler)
I'm struggling hard with my schoolwork now. It's nearly depressing. The sunshine of my modules have got to be Management Communications. It's fun and I learn concrete stuff from the instructor! In any case, I can honestly say I'm enjoying what I'm learning. Of course, at the back of my head, I'm thinking about the possible consequences of my GPA. But this what I'm telling myself:
1. Walk with God
2. Live life - give your all
3. Excellence will follow
Some of my upcoming projects are going to be exciting, especially marketing. Choir concert coming in 10 days! To love, to lose, to cheat, to kiss, to hope...

Love Matters
For the first time, I watched a movie alone today! Pats on back for me. LOVE MATTERS is really good! Typical Jack Neo film, but came across as fresh. How do you do films in the same style and yet get people ever more rapt? It's difficult!
This is one movie where there is no hot babe or cute guys. (Not that I care about the hot babe) It explores themes on love, marriage, sex, and online bullying. Moving and hilarious, the scenes were set in KL. Thus, there was lttle opportunity to mock Singapore polices and whatnots.
I was incredulous that the movie was rated NC-16 at first, now I understand why. Sexual references as stated in ratings are not references, they are outright comments. A bold step for Jack Neo I guess.
Ok I'm buried in work. Ciaoz!

Cheers to the niu year
Xin Nian Kuai Le! Gong Xi Fa Cai!
This is probably the only time of the year that I greet people in Chinese without stuttering. I love CNY; the family, food, ang pao etc. With the economic downturn, I'm more appreciative of recevng ang paos. My, if I had to give them out this year, I wouldn't! I have a feeling that friends my age are not understanding the severity of this recession. People are losing their jobs like flies dropping from the air. This time round, it's not in even in the thousands but the millions!
Am I asking you to put on a downcast face and mope around? No, don't do that. Yes people are going to hurt but tough times call for tough people. Resilience, not defeat.
On another page, I'm finally done with Honk! the musical. It ran for two successful days. I saw Chua Enlai at the musical and worked up the courage for 15 mins before I asked him to take a photo with me. My choir-Honk friends have bonded well over the 3 weeks.
Next up: Choir Concert "Wrinkles in the Air to.." To all my friends who are supposed to buy tickets from me, I'm sorry, I promise to deliver them soon!

My family moment
Sunday evenings are the only times I get to see my whole family together, which shouldn't be too difficult since there are only 5 of us. However, although my father has had laid down the rule that Sunday evening dinners are to be compulsory family time, my brothers break that rule half the time to run off to this and that. Any surprise as to why my parents think they have one child, me, only? [It probably explains why I'm a tad spoilt.]
On the first Sunday of 2009, my dad SMS-ed all of us to have dinner that day. At a Chinese restaurant, he suddenly lifted his cha bei (tea cup) and said, 'Cheers to all you in the New Year and may God bless you.' In a slightly awkward moment, we lifted our own cups and clanged each others', wishing each other well too. That, was definitely a family moment.

Advent Conspiracy
Cent$less, your videos should aim for this kinda standard! Putting funny people into your videos do not automatically make people remember your message.
I apologise for the outdated Christmas message. The good news is: Christmas is every year!
