Plague: Indecisiveness

Me: Oh dear, I'm really domineering, am I?
H: No Anna, it's just you. Besides most people can't make decisions.

Yes, that's the problem! People these days, no, Singaporeans can't make decisions. I'm not even talking about good decisions, it's just making a decision. Which is worse, no decision or a bad decision? To be indecisive is to be unconclusive and irresolute. Boys, please grow up to be men who make decisions. And girls, take a chill pill and let them learn.

Maybe.. the root of our problem lies in from our education and upbringing. All through our lives, the government makes the decisions for us, our parents, pastors. In order not to be 'whacked', we just listen, and listen obediently did we! Yet, we are rebellious in our nature so it comes our in other ways, the way we talk back to elders rudely, speaking foul etc. And now when the government is taking more of a backseat and encouraging the public to speak, they hear nothing because every Singaporean is hoarding golden nuggets in his mouths and is too lazy to think, for himself or for the nation!

The first step to making a good decision is to maybe learn how to make any decision.
